Not entirely clear how exactly this mixture should be taken: on empty stomach or after a meal, once a day or in several (how many) takes?

    Hi Elisabeth,
We changed the wording. It is one glass of the mixture daily. This is a republished article, not written by us here at I would personally drink it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach 20-30 minutes before breakfast.
    Thank you!

    Hi Admin,
forget it all – I’m not puzzled any more.
Googling “Stanley Burroughs”, who the article states developed this recipe, I found .
No solid food during this time, only this “lemonade”, apart from water and tea (probably herbal infusions).
I don’t know why someone replaced maple syrup by peppermint and lemon oil, and also changed the process, it must have been somebody very confused.
And I do hope you will check your sources more diligently in future!

    Hi Elisabeth,
The author of this cleanse did not claim it to be Stanley Borroughs Master cleanse”. There are numerous different cleanse recipes out there.
