Many self-proclaimed success gurus love to exclaim that there is a trap, and its name is comfortability. The idea behind this is that when people become comfortable in a situation, they can become complacent.
While this may hold true for some, this is a concept that makes little to no sense to me.
This world has been carefully and purposefully crafted to make people constantly strive for more, better, bigger, faster, and what that creates isnβt better β it creates a sense of overwhelming lack β a feeling of not yet having or achieved whatever the stated end goal is.
You attract what you feel. You do not attract what you want.
Want is a feeling that something isnβt there and is missing. You cannot attract from a standpoint of lack. Manifestation only works when the mindset is in abundance.
My personal goal is to be as comfortable as possible at all times β in my own body, in my situation, with the people around me, and financially.
Comfort isnβt a trap. It is what you should aspire to!
Being comfortable means feeling happy and content. God forbid anyone is happy and content! The real kicker is that when you are comfortable, content, and feeling good, that is how you allow gratitude in. Gratitude is a massive force for good in your life. When you are grateful for all that you have it opens a doorway for more that brings you that same feeling.
Joy, gratitude, happiness, love of life, and appreciation for what you have β IS VITAL.
Donβt allow societyβs games push you constantly into a state of action. Busy doesnβt equal success, busy only equals busy. Sometimes itβs a great idea to sit back and simply βBEβ. Allow appreciation for all that you have achieved and all that you are.
Next time someone tells you that comfortability is a trap⦠just smile and walk away⦠You know better (and your comfortable demeanor and lifestyle will reflect it).
