Robert F. Kennedy Jr emphasizes how pharmaceutical companies have a large hand in how the American government creates healthcare policy and recommendations.
- Reflect On:At the end of the day, awareness is key, as we are the tools used by these corporations. Without US, they would not be able to sell their product. Do these companies have our best interest at heart? Or does business greed take over?
Those of you who have been involved in the past in the battle to protect our children from poorly made vaccines or toxic chemicals in our food or in our water know the power of these industries and how they’ve undermined every institution in our democracy that is supposed to protect little children from powerful, greedy corporations. Even the pharmaceutical companies have been able to purchase congress. They’re the largest lobbying entity in Washington D.C.. They have more lobbyists in Washington D.C. than there are congressman and senators combined. They give twice to congress what the next largest lobbying entity is, which is oil and gas… Imagine the power they exercise over both republicans and democrats. They’ve captured them (our regulatory agencies) and turned them into sock puppets. They’ve compromised the press… and they destroy the publications that publish real science. (Robert F. Kennedy Jr, from the video below)
Robert F. Kennedy Jr, Chairman of the Board of Directors for Children’s Health Defence (a worthy cause if you’re looking for one to donate to) has been fighting against big corporations that have taken over and undermined American government health regulatory agencies for a number of years. One of the most recent examples is when Robert F. Kennedy Jr represented Dewayne Johnson, a school groundskeeper who successfully brought forward a lawsuit alleging glyphosate caused his cancer. That’s right, he won!
There are currently thousands of cases pending against Monsanto, which is only one of multiple powerful companies influencing agencies like the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). And to think, these are the agencies providing us with ‘science’ in order to get the food, medications, and other products produced by these big corporations to be deemed safe. Not only that, but these agencies are providing educational resources to medical schools, which Big Pharma has completely taken over as well.
It’s truly unbelievable that, in this day and age, education has turned into brainwashing. Science is corrupted, altered, changed, ignored, and swept under the rug just because it threatens the interests of a few powerful people and the corporations they hide behind.
It is simply no longer possible to believe much of the clinical research that is published, or to rely on the judgment of trusted physicians or authoritative medical guidelines. I take no pleasure in this conclusion, which I reached slowly and reluctantly over my two decades as an editor of The New England Journal of Medicine.” Dr. Marcia Angell, a physician and longtime Editor-in-Chief of the New England Medical Journal (NEMJ) (source)
Glyphosate, the active ingredient in Monsanto’s pesticide Round Up, is a perfect example, as science has been showing for decades how incredibly harmful it is for human health and the environment, yet it’s approved as ‘safe’ for use in the western world. It’s no mystery why glyphosate is illegal in the majority of countries around the world. The same goes for genetically modified foods, which is what Round Up was designed to be used on. Years ago, a lawsuit forced the FDA to divulge its files on genetically engineered foods.
“As part of the process, they portrayed the various concerns as merely the ignorant opinions of misinformed individuals – and derided them as not only unscientific, but anti-science. They then set to work to convince the public and government officials, through the dissemination of false information, that there was an overwhelming expert consensus, based on solid evidence, that GMOs were safe.” – Jane Goodall
You can read more about that here. You can also read more about the connection between GMOs and cancer as well as hundreds of scientists supporting the link here. Just like glyphosate, dozens of countries have cited health and environmental hazards for keeping GMOs out of their country.
In addition, Monsanto colluded with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to stifle cancer research and any connections to their products. The European Union actually just approved the use of glyphosate, and their approval was found to be based on plagiarized science from Monsanto.
The corruption is never-ending when it comes to the link between corporations and government agencies. In fact, only a few years ago, more than a dozen scientists from within the CDC put out an anonymous public statement detailing the influence corporations have on government policies. They were referred to as the Spider Papers.
Dr. William Thompson is a longtime CDC scientist who has published some of the most commonly cited pro-vaccine studies, some of which claim that there is absolutely no link between the MMR vaccine and autism. He pointed to a specific study that he co-authored in 2004 for the CDC, which claimed that “the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine does not cause autism or any particular subtypes of autism spectrum disorder.” This study is often cited when trying to justify the use of this vaccine, despite the fact that he later stated they deleted important findings from that study. He said that “it’s the lowest point in my career that I went along with that paper and uh, I went along with this, we didn’t report significant findings… I’m completely ashamed of what I did, I have great shame now that I was complicit and went along with this. I have been a part of the problem.” (source)
Anxious to get this information out, Thompson sent various documents to Congressman Bill Posey, who addressed the congress, reading a statement that he had received from Dr. Thompson:
Sometime soon after the meeting, we decided to exclude reporting any race effects, the [CDC] co-authors scheduled a meeting to destroy documents related to the [MMR vaccine] study. The remaining four co-authors all met and brought a big garbage can into the meeting room and reviewed and went through all the hard copy documents that we had thought we should discard and put them in a huge garbage can. (source)
As you can see, there are no shortage of examples that highlight the collusion between corporations and government regulatory agencies.
This information might come as a shock for some, and to those of you who are just waking up to this kind of thing, it’s really nothing to be scared about. This is simply important information to be aware of. Once you are aware, you can make more informed decisions and better choices in your own life. After all, who are the main resources for these big, misleading corporations? Us. We are the ones who use and support their products and keep the money flowing into their pockets. Without us, they are nothing, which is why awareness is so important.
Sure, there are mass brainwashing campaigns by these companies in an attempt to convince us that their propaganda is real, but more people are becoming aware and it’s spreading across the globe. This can’t go on forever, and compared to a couple of decades ago, so many more people were unaware. We’ve come a long way, and that’s a very positive thing.

Sunday, October 15, 2017, CBS TV news 60 Minutes dropped a proverbial “bombshell” regarding the problems with the U.S. pharmaceutical industry and the “shills” who promote Pharma’s wares—licensed medical doctors, distributors, pharmacists, etc.
If, by chance, you missed CBS’s outstanding piece of investigative journalism, here’s a short introductory video to acquaint you with the huge problem U.S. citizens are facing because of the compromises U.S. Congress members have engaged in to affect the health of citizens regarding opioids and the ensuing addiction horrors now plaguing us.
However, what most healthcare consumers don’t recognize and realize is what Congress did in 1986 in passing the Big Pharma “get out of jail card free” legislation, aka The National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act (NCVIA) of 1986 (42 U.S.C. §§ 300aa-1 to 300aa-34) is similar to neutralizing the DEA legislation introduced by President Trump’s Drug Czar nominee Rep. Tom Marino (R-PA) .
Congress created similar serious problems impacting drugs, health, welfare and the wellbeing of innocent children due to unproven safety; vaccines are not tested to see if they are carcinogens, teratogens or impact fertility.
Neurotoxic vaccines are injected within the first 24 hours of birth and continue through infants’ first eighteen months of life for a total of 74 doses as of the CDC’s 2016 schedule below.
Compare the above chart with vaccine schedules for 1940, 1980 and 2012 below. After 1986, overwhelmingly more vaccines were given to infants and children, i.e., 49 doses of 14 vaccines by 6 years of age. In 2016, 74 doses of 53 injected vaccines and 3 oral vaccines were given by 18 years of age!
Concomitantly with the increase of vaccines, children’s health statistics have been impacted negatively to the point where medical doctors and industry associations consider those rising statistics as “coincidences.”
One of the most dramatic “coincidences” is Autism, which was between one in 10,000—15,000 in the 1940s, whereas as of the last statistical reporting, ASD is now one in 68 children in the USA. Furthermore, ASD has experienced a 30% increase in just two years!
The most fortunate part about the opioid problem is a whistleblower, Joseph Rannazzisi, whom the media is supporting and promoting. Not so for vaccine whistleblowers!
Whereas, whistleblowers who have come forward reporting fraud, deceit and collusion on the part of falsified vaccine research by the CDC/FDA are discounted totally and disregarded by the media, public health agencies and school districts in the USA. However, that’s not the case in foreign countries where Big Pharma companies are being sued in court for their legal liabilities.
If you are moved and appalled by the opioid addiction problem, rather than my telling you the breaking news story put together by The Washington Post and CBS 60 Minutes, may I suggest you read about it here and applaud DEA whistleblower Joseph Rannazzisi.
However, may I also suggest you juxtapose what you’ve learned about the opioid problem with what you will learn in VAXXED: From Cover-up to Catastrophe.
Is there any reason NOT to investigate the entire kit-and-caboodle of pharmaceutical criminal activity—not just opioids—plaguing U.S. healthcare consumers, society and most of all, the future of the human race, infants and children?
Shouldn’t one place start with banning pharmaceutical advertisements from TV, radio, magazines and other social media networks? We did it with alcohol and tobacco, so why not drugs?

Despite massive public outcry, Americans have been betrayed once again in favor of corporate profit — this time concerning Internet privacy rights. Powerful lobbying by the telecom industry prevailed in both the Senate and House, with 215 House members voting for and 205 voting against S.J. Res. 34, a Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution to repeal the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) privacy provision. The House vote occurred only a few days after the GOP-majority Senate passed the proposal by a 50-48 vote the previous Thursday.
Dismantling years of safeguards, Internet Service Providers (ISP) will now be able to sell sensitive consumer data to the highest bidder — including personal information about your location, health, finances, family and even your sexual orientation. The bill repeals Federal Communication Commission (FCC) rules that require Internet Service Providers to obtain customers’ permission, before using collected data from browsing history to create targeted advertising. What’s more, the regulation rollback will also allow your ISP to deploy undetectable tools that track your browsing history.
“Congress today voted to sell off your privacy and your security online. Your internet service provider can see almost everything you do online — from many of the websites you visit, to apps you use, and even some of your private communications,” said Nathan White, senior legislative manager at Access Now. “[Internet Service Providers]… want to sell off that treasure trove to increase corporate profits, and apparently Congress is fine with that.”
Evan Greer, campaign director of Fight for the Future adds that, because lawmakers are more concerned about funding their campaigns, rather than protecting the safety and security of their constituents, they have endangered us all.
“Gutting these privacy rules won’t just allow Internet Service Providers to spy on us and sell our personal information, it will also enable more unconstitutional mass government surveillance, and fundamentally undermine our cybersecurity by making our sensitive personal information vulnerable to hackers, identity thieves, and foreign governments,” she said.
Greer also points out these privacy violations will severely impact marginalized communities like LGBTQ, since widespread collection of data creates a “backdoor opportunity to target people based on their beliefs or sexuality.”
Moreover, Matt Stoller, fellow at the Open Markets Program of New America, stresses that the resolution is far more than an invasion of privacy. “This is about market power and the ability to manipulate you with algorithms, not just about keeping secrets,” he said in a recent Twitter post.
“Do you want your insurance company to adjust your rates based on your web browsing activity?” he asks. “Do you want prospective employers to use as a criteria who you are thinking of dating? Do you want your ISP or any buyers of data to know you are communicating with politicians or political advocates? Do you want airlines to raise ticket prices on you without you realizing it, based on their knowledge a family member just died?” He adds, “That’s what this is about.”
The passed joint resolution is written as follows:
This joint resolution nullifies the rule submitted by the Federal Communications Commission entitled “Protecting the Privacy of Customers of Broadband and Other Telecommunications Services.”
The rule published on December 2, 2016: (1) applies the customer privacy requirements of the Communications Act of 1934 to broadband Internet access service and other telecommunications services, (2) requires telecommunications carriers to inform customers about rights to opt in or opt out of the use or the sharing of their confidential information, (3) adopts data security and breach notification requirements, (4) prohibits broadband service offerings that are contingent on surrendering privacy rights, and (5) requires disclosures and affirmative consent when a broadband provider offers customers financial incentives in exchange for the provider’s right to use a customer’s confidential information.
“It is extremely disappointing that Congress is sacrificing the privacy rights of Americans in the interest of protecting the profits of major Internet companies including Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon,” said ACLU Legislative Counsel Neema Singh Guliani. “President Trump now has the opportunity to veto this resolution and show he is not just a president for CEOs but for all Americans. Trump should use his power to protect everyone’s right to privacy.”
Despite the call for Trump to defend privacy rights, the White House issued a statement on Tuesday, March 28th in support of the bill, which is expected to become law with the signature of the president. Ajit Pai, the new chair of the FCC and former lawyer for Verizon, believes net neutrality is a “mistake” and fully supports the joint resolution.
In closing, Taylor Hatmaker at TechCrunch has this to say:
“Today’s vote is a blow to anyone who’d prefer not to put their browsing history on blast, and a major victory for advertisers hungry for all of the de-anonymized personal data that they can vacuum up and dole out. With Congress and the FCC squarely in the latter’s camp, consumers who value privacy — and really, we all should — are in for a rough ride.”

Between members of Congress and the general population, the latter are still getting the shaft when it comes to paying for Obamacare, while the former are still getting their premiums subsidized (by the latter).
Maybe now – you financially struggling American – you have a better understanding of why you’re still having trouble making ends meet in this Obama economy.
As cited by Zero Hedge, Obamacare costs are sucking up 10 percent of Americans’ income, on average, mostly due to skyrocketing out-of-pocket costs tied largely to rising deductibles.
“The latest dilemma facing economists is why ‘unequivocally good’ low oil prices haven’t sparked excuberant consumer spending across America,” Zero Hedge’s Tyler Durden writes. “We have discussed the simple (though awkward for the establishment) answer many times – soaring costs for ‘shelter’ and healthcare have hoovered up every penny saved (and more); and now, a new study proves it- exposing the reality that many Obamacare customers pay more than 10 percent of their incomes toward coverage (and some paying considerably more).”
‘You start to get hit pretty hard’
The study, by the Urban Institute, notes:
“The Affordable Care Act (ACA) improved health insurance affordability for many by expanding Medicaid and providing financial assistance for marketplace-based coverage for those with incomes below 400 percent of the federal poverty level (FPL) [*More on this in a moment]. Together with new insurance regulations and a requirement for many to enroll in coverage or pay a penalty, these affordability provisions were intended to substantially reduce the number of uninsured. In recent months, however, an increasing number of voices have drawn attention to high deductibles and out-of-pocket costs and the affordability of marketplace insurance in general. While the ‘right’ or ‘just’ level of health care financial burdens is inherently subjective, financial burdens that are high relative to income can lower enrollment levels and compromise the ability of the ACA to reach its goals.”
As further explained by CNBC, which cited the study, Obamacare customers are paying up to 10 percent of their already meager incomes for coverage – and for a measure that the president and his sycophantic supporters repeatedly promised would reduce annual out-of-pocket health coverage expenses (“an average of $2,500 per year”):
“One in 10 Obamacare customers who earn between just two and five times the federal poverty level will have coverage costs that exceed 21 percent of their incomes, an analysis by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Urban Institute found.”
What’s more, the median Affordable Care Act consumer who earns in that range, and is spending more than 10 percent of their income on coverage, includes higher expenditures for monthly premiums and higher deductibles, the study found.
“Many who have modest incomes have high financial burdens even with average medical expenses,” the report said. “For those at the top of the [health] spending distribution, financial burdens are very high.”
“You start to get hit pretty hard,” said John Holahan, an Urban Institute fellow, and co-author of the report.
Feeling better about Obamacare now?
No doubt. But there were signs of Obamacare’s hit on personal finances prior to this report. So high were premiums and rising out-of-pocket expenses, that even the uber-liberal Web rag Slate had to admit it, though only after bashing the one political party that did not bring us Obamacare.
So yes, you do have less money now than a couple years ago, and yes, one reason for that is the inappropriately named “Affordable” Care Act – the “health reform bill” that Obama had to lie about repeatedly, with help from Marxist social micro-managers like Jonathan Gruber.
*As for the ACA expanding Medicaid, it has certainly done that, and in the process has created a huge new expense for taxpayers that is helping to add hundreds of billions to the already insane national debt (of nearly $19 trillion – and mounting). When that debt bubble explodes, it will be more than Obamacare’s out of control out-of-pocket expenses that destroys American households.

Great news! A provision ending the federal prohibition on medical marijuana, banning federal agents from policing its users or raiding dispensaries in any state or district where it is legal, was just passed by Congress.
The provision can be found in Congress’ new 1,603-page spending plan.
The spending plan, with the medical pot provision within it, became law when President Obama signed it last Friday, reports the LA Times.
Up until now, police could still prosecute people for using or distributing medical marijuana – even in states that had legalized it, because federal law designated cannabis in any form as an illegal drug. As you know, federal law takes precedent over state law.
A massive shift has now taken place. Reportedly, even Republicans were more inclined to support a less strict federal drug policy.
Said Bill Piper, a lobbyist with the Drug Policy Alliance:
“The war on medical marijuana is over. Now the fight moves on to legalization of all marijuana.”
At present, thirty-two of the 50 states and the District of Columbia have already legalized some form of marijuana use, or its ingredients, for medication.
For this reason, the new law “is a victory for so many,” says Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, a Californian Republican and co-author of the provision.
“This is […] the first time in decades that the federal government has curtailed its oppressive prohibition of marijuana.”
The benefits of cannabis are numerous, which is why the herb needs to be legally available in every state. Studies have shown that cannabis oil helps treat everything from glaucoma and multiple sclerosis to nerve and seizure disorders, and chronic pain. In addition, hemp is not only a nutritious food (hemp seed), the crop can be used to make clothes, building materials, and fuel – among other uses.

ECONOMIC SLAVERY FOR ALL: While we were distracted with the Confederate flag flap, Congress quietly forfeited our entire economic future via fast-track trade authority
While America was distracted by a contrived, pre-planned Confederate flag distraction, the U.S. Congress forfeited the entire economic future of the country by quietly passing so-called “fast-track authority” which will allow President Obama to approve the TPP “free trade” agreement.
The TPP, as you may have heard, outright surrenders U.S. sovereignty to multinational corporations, handing them total global monopolies over labor practices, immigration, Big Pharma drug pricing, GMO food labeling, criminalization of garden seeds and much more. In all, the TPP hands over control of 80% of the U.S. economy to global monopolists, and the TPP is set up to enable those corporations to engage in virtually unlimited toxic chemical pollution, medical monopolization, the gutting of labor safety laws and much more.
Plus, did I mention the TPP will displace millions of American works as corporations outsource jobs to foreign workers? While corporations rake in the profits from new global powers, everyday American workers will lose their livelihoods and their jobs (not to mention their pensions).
Political sleight of hand: It was SOOOO easy to distract the American people with a flag flap!
Essentially, America just got sold out by people like Marco Rubio. And it was incredibly easy to pull off, too. First, America was distracted by a contrived, pre-planned mass hysteria / outrage event now known as the Confederate flag flap. Hilariously, this literal false flag controversy doesn’t even involve the actual Confederate flag. It involves a battle flag that people mistakenly think is the Confederate flag. (But who needs historical accuracy when there’s hysteria to spread?)
While Amazon.com was frantically deleting Confederate flag products from its website and everybody was going bat-crap insane over the 1970’s comedy TV series Dukes of Hazzard and its use of the so-called Confederate flag on a hot rod car, Republicans and the President were busy committing outright treason at the highest levels: surrendering American sovereignty and economically enslaving all of America’s future children.
And that’s the tragic irony of all this: While the political left falsely believed it was denouncing slavery by pressuring every online retailer and government entity to ban the Confederate flag, the U.S. Congress was busy enacting a whole new level of total economic enslavement for everyone, regardless of their skin color.
While ignorant “activists” ran around in mass hysteria, thinking they were banishing a symbol of enslavement to the history books, they were actually providing the necessary public distraction for quiet passage of the TPP’s fast-track authority.
In other words, they played right into the hands of the real slave masters: the globalist, monopolist corporations and their fascist government puppets who betray the People at every opportunity.
Believe me: These corporations don’t care about the skin color of their slave workers. They gladly enslave everyone, including you and me, if we’re stupid enough to allow our own elected representatives to forfeit America’s future (which they just did).
Screw the Confederate flag issue, folks: All Americans are now the “property” of multinational monopolist corporations that have turned national governments against their own people. The Confederate flag flap was merely a useful distraction to trick the population using political sleight of hand to fool everyone about the real agenda being pursued in Washington.
America is now officially a nation of slave workers beholden to multinational corporate interests. How does your silly flag outrage feel now?

While many states in the U.S. have successfully passed bills “legalizing” marijuana for medical and even recreational use, cannabis is still illegal on a nation-wide, federal level. In fact, cannabis is still classified as a Schedule I drug with “no medicinal value,” along with heroin, LSD, and ecstasy. But recurring evidence is showing that this could all change very soon.Reportedly tucked deep inside the 1,603-page federal spending measure is a provision that effectively ends the federal government’s prohibition on medical marijuana.
The bill’s passage over the weekend marks the first time Congress has approved nationally significant legislation backed by legalization advocates. It brings almost to a close two decades of tension between the states and Washington over medical use of marijuana.
“This is a victory for so many,” said the measure’s coauthor, Republican Rep. Dana Rohrabacher of Costa Mesa. The measure’s approval, he said, represents “the first time in decades that the federal government has curtailed its oppressive prohibition of marijuana.”
Under the provision, states with legal medical marijuana would no longer need to worry about federal drug agents raiding retail operations. Agents would be prohibited from doing so.
“The war on medical marijuana is over. Now the fight moves on to legalization of all marijuana. This is the strongest signal we have received from Congress [that] the politics have really shifted. … Congress has been slow to catch up with the states and American people, but it is catching up,” said Bill Piper, a lobbyist with the Drug Policy Alliance, who called the move historic.
And evidence suggests that president Obama is all for it, as he has repeatedly said the federal government would use minimal resources to strike at dispensaries. The Obama Administration has unofficially made it part of their policy to neither indict nor raid medical marijuana dispensaries and growers.
“What you’re seeing now is Colorado, Washington through state referenda, they’re experimenting with legal marijuana,” the president said in response to a question from YouTube host Hank Green. “The position of my administration has been that we still have federal laws that classify marijuana as an illegal substance, but we’re not going to spend a lot of resources trying to turn back decisions that have been made at the state level on this issue. My suspicion is that you’re gonna see other states start looking at this.”
With 23 states legalizing medical marijuana, and Colorado and Washington legalizing marijuana for recreational purposes, there is no doubt that we’ll see even more states pass similar bills in 2015. The movement seems to have gained enough momentum to ride to the end.

LIKE CLOCKWORK: Pension plans to be looted nationwide as Congress okays institutional theft of funds
On April 2, 2013, in an article entitled Economics 101: Production, coercion and theft, I wrote about the coming looting of pension plans, stating:
When societies approach collapse, coercion shifts to outright theft: Stealing money right out of your bank account, for example, like we recently witnessed in Cyprus. Government also routinely target pension funds and even private retirement accounts, attempting to keep itself afloat by any means necessary.
Just like clockwork, that looting of pension plans is now about to commence. “Congress could soon allow the benefits of current retirees to be cut as part of an agreement to address the fiscal distress confronting some of the nation’s 1,400 multi-employer pension plans,” writes Michael Fletcher of the Washington Post. The Post continues:
“This proposal would devastate retirees and their surviving spouses,” said Karen Friedman, executive vice president of the Pension Rights Center, a nonprofit group. “The proposal would also torpedo basic protections of the federal private pension law … that states that once benefits are earned, they can’t be cut back.”
All the pension benefits that have been promised government retirees, in other words, are about to be stolen back from retirees.
This is precisely what I’ve long warned Natural News readers was coming. And this is merely the very beginning of the true destruction of the financial collapse headed our way. When the next market crash arrives, billions of dollars in retirement funds will be destroyed virtually overnight, and pension funds nationwide will be wiped out.
A “declaration of war” against the American worker
The fact that this wholesale theft of pension funds is now under way has not escaped union workers and retirees.
As WashPost also reports:
“This is nothing less than a declaration of war by Congress on American retirees,” said R. Thomas Buffenbarger, international president of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
Indeed, “war” is exactly how most people are going to perceive this… especially when retirement checks are the primary source of income for many retirees who are just barely getting by.
For millions of Americans, when those checks stop coming, it spells instant financial disaster. Many won’t be able to pay their mortgages or rent payments, and we are sadly going to see a massive wave of new American homeless coupled with a glut of vacant homes owned by banks teetering on financial collapse.
As pension funds are increasingly looted and stolen from retirees, more and more of America is going to resemble Detroit: a city that once shined with innovation but now — thanks to outrageous corruption, taxation and the endless expansion of government — has collapsed into third-world status that even lacks running water for many of its residents.
Back in 2013, I warned about all this in an article entitled “Production, Coercion and Theft.”
It’s time to revisit that article, so here it is:
Flashback: Production, Coercion and Theft
I’d like to share a lesson in economics today, and I call it the “Production, Coercion and Theft” lesson.
There are only three ways to accumulate money and wealth in world (other than stumbling across a hidden treasure and actually finding money, that is):
#1) Production: Offer something of value in exchange for money voluntarily traded by recipients
#2) Coercion: Confiscate money (or stores of value) by claiming authority over those who earn it
#3) Theft: Steal money (or stores of value) from those who already have it
Every person in society today acquires money in these three ways (with “gifting” being a fourth way that’s in a separate category because it’s passive, not active). The office worker, the entrepreneur, the laborer, the weekend burglar and even the professional politician all acquire money in one of these three primary ways.
Production means offering something of value to another party who is willing to trade you dollars for it. It can include both goods and services. A 9-5 office worker, for example, offers the value of their time and effort, and in exchange they are compensated at an agreed upon pay rate.
Production can also mean adding value to physical goods. We do this at the Natural News Store by sourcing organic superfoods from around the world and packaging them in pouches and cans for retail in the USA. This is a classic example of value-added production.
Out of the three methods of money accumulation covered here, production is the only one that adds abundance to the economy. The other two methods reduce wealth and ultimately promote poverty.
Coercion means forcing someone to give you money. This is the default method of all government bodies, from your local property tax collector to the federal IRS. Coercion means extracting money from someone in a non-mutually-agreed (i.e. “non-voluntary”) way.
Being mugged is a lot like being taxed
A mugging is money extraction via coercion. Ironically, it is almost identical to taxation: There is a threat of force stated or implied, followed by a request for a certain amount of money: “Give me your wallet” or “Pay $12,453.24.” Your compliance results in the source of the coercion taking your money then moving on to their next victim. Non-compliance results in you either being shot, stabbed, arrested at gunpoint or stripped of other possessions you may own.
Theft is different from coercion in that there is no interaction at all between two parties. Theft is when someone breaks into your house and steals your flat screen TV when you’re not even there. Or it’s when someone breaks into your online bank account and transfers all your money to an offshore crime haven in Nigeria.
Theft is what recently happened in Cyprus, where banksters stole 40% or more of private account balances, later stealing 60% or more of many business accounts. It wasn’t coercion because there was no threat of force, nor any compliance on your part. You simply wake up one morning and find that your bank account, your truck, your wallet or your laptop computers is missing. That’s theft… and that’s how the global banking system fundamentally functions.
Another advanced kind of theft is committed by the Federal Reserve. By printing new money, it steals the value of all the money you currently hold. This is called “currency theft” but a full discussion of it is beyond the scope of this lesson. For now, let’s stick to simple theft and coercion.
The illusion of compliance
Governments typically shy away from engaging in outright theft. Why? Because they hope to create the illusion of voluntary compliance. By coercing you into giving up your money “voluntarily,” they avoid the appearance of outright stealing money or property from you. You “agreed” to pay your taxes, didn’t you?
In certain cases, of course, the government does engage in outright theft. This is called “eminent domain” and it means the government simply claims ownership of something you own (usually some land or a building), then decides how much money to pay you for it. The government claims the right to steal from you for “the common good,” implying that the benefit of some is more important than protecting the private property rights of all.
Theft is also carried out through misrepresentation and fraud. If a used car salesman sells you a 2005 Chevy pickup with “only 25,000 miles” on it, but it turns out they hacked the odometer and the vehicle actually has 300,000 miles on it, that’s misrepresentation and fraud.
This is very common in the food industry where “extra virgin olive oil” often turns out to be cut with GMO canola oil. Or where “tuna fish” actually isn’t from tuna. In the health supplements market, misrepresentation and fraud is also common among heavily-hyped “miracle” supplements that claim impossible results. Acai weight loss pills are a good example.
Misrepresentation and fraud is how virtually the entire system on Wall Street operates, by the way. It’s all a numbers game where investment houses sell stocks short while telling their customers to buy. The ratings are faked, the customers buy the stock, the investment brokers sell it short and wait for the stock to tumble from its artificial high, after which they rake in the profits.
Why governments prefer coercion to theft
By and large, governments far prefer coercion to theft. The IRS, for example, continues to insist that paying federal tax is a “voluntary” act. “Compliance is voluntary,” they admit. But this brand of volunteerism comes with the heavy hand of coercion. A typical warning letter from the IRS threatens the recipient with losing all his property and spending years in jail if they refuse to comply.
So yes, paying the IRS is “voluntary” as long as you don’t mind the consequences: Years in prison and the forfeiting of everything you own. That’s classic coercion.
By the same token, a Chicago mafia goon could walk into a popular night club in 1929 and say, “You’s gonna volunteer to pay us 20% of your profits, okay?” (Say that in your head with a cartoonish mob accent for better effect.) Followed by: “It would be a real shame to see a nice joint like this burn to ashes, y’know?”
This is not unlike the offer made by the IRS. Pay us 50% (or more) of your income, or lose your freedom.
Obamacare is implemented entirely by coercion. The gambit is this: Buy Obamacare health insurance, or we’ll just confiscate money right out of your paycheck. That has very little difference from the mafia’s offer of “pay us 20% or we burn this place down.” In both cases, it’s a threat and a demand for compliance. That’s coercion.
Coercion and theft are signs of a crumbling society
When society is healthy, production is the dominant method of wealth creation. But when society begins to fall into criminality, corruption and government gone bad, coercion and theft become the dominant methods for diverting wealth from those who have earned it into the hands of those who are receiving it.
All agents and employees of the government are, by definition, beneficiaries of coercion. Their salaries are paid entirely by the government’s confiscation of wealth from private sector workers and businesses, all of whom comply solely because they are threatened with imprisonment if they fail to do so.
The ratio between production and coercion is a very good indicator of the level of freedom in any given nation. When tax rates are low, production is high because people have more incentive to start businesses, hire more people and produce more products or services. Wealth is primarily created by productivity
But when tax rates are high — more coercion — production plummets because the rewards for starting a business and hiring workers are diminished. The focus of the economy becomes government growth accompanied by increasing coercion / confiscation of private wealth.
When societies approach collapse, coercion shifts to outright theft: Stealing money right out of your bank account, for example, like we recently witnessed in Cyprus. Government also routinely target pension funds and even private retirement accounts, attempting to keep itself afloat by any means necessary.
Understand these three key truths
In summary, the fall of society can be understood through these key transitions:
Abundant society = Freedom and liberty = Production and wealth creation
…then Production becomes Coercion
Coercion society = High taxes, growth of government = Wealth confiscation
…then Coercion becomes Theft
Theft society = Looting of private bank accounts, government seizure of industry = Wealth destruction
…Theft leads to Collapse
The EU has entered the stage of “coercion becoming theft.” The collapse is near.

WHAT LANDSLIDE? Obama threatens vetoes and executive orders – including immigration reform THIS YEAR – after Americans reject him by giving Republicans historic gains in Congress
- ‘Congress will pass some bills I cannot sign,’ the president warnedHe has only vetoed two minor bills since his inauguration in 2009
- And ‘I’ll take some actions that some in Congress will not like,’ Obama added, referring to threatened executive orders
- Those include a bold move on immigration ‘before the end of the year’
- President sounded more like a winner than a loser despite his policies being repudiated on a national scale
- Never articulated a single policy where he would shift his position to align with GOP majorities in both houses of Congress
President Barack Obama came out swinging on Wednesday just 14 hours after a Republican wave swept over the U.S. Congress in an election that largely repudiated his policies.
‘Congress will pass some bills I cannot sign,’ he said, threatening to dust off a veto pen that he has used only twice in nearly six years.
And he hinted at executive orders that will enrage conservatives.
‘I’m pretty sure I’ll take some actions that some in Congress will not like,’ he said. ‘That’s natural. That’s how Democracy works.’
Much of reporters’ tussling with the president focused on executive orders related to immigration reform – what some tea party Republicans call an ‘amnesty’ – which he plans to implement this year.
He acknowledged that the GOP won Tuesday’s elections, but framed the results as a mandate for Republicans to work with him, instead of the other way around.
‘Obviously the Republicans had a good night,’ he said.
STUNG BUT SWINGING: Obama insisted that he won’t budge on immigration and other key issues despite Republicans’ ‘wave’ election on Tuesday
FULL HOUSE: Reporters crowded into the White House’s East Room to hear President Barack Obama react to his party’s Tuesday night electoral drubbing
NEW COLD WARRIOR? Kentucky Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell (left) seized control of Democrats’ previous congressional stronghold on Tuesday, but Obama behaved as though his party won
But he said he would principally work with them ‘if there are ideas that the Republicans have that I am confident will make things better for ordinary Americans.’
‘I want to just see what works,’ he said.
‘The American people sent a message,’ he claimed, ‘one that they’ve sent for several elections now.’
‘They expect the people they elect to work as hard as they do. They expect us to focus on their ambitions, and not ours.’
He then rattled off a list of economic indicators that he said buttressed his case that Republicans should accept his point of view.
‘More Americans are working. Unemployment has come down,’ he claimed, glossing over the part-time employment shift that the Obamacare law’s employer mandate has ushered in.

On Monday, President Obama announced what many Americans had long expected, but Constitutionalists have long feared. Obama announced that he was taking unilateral action on the issue of immigration reform
In the same Rose Garden where two years ago he announced his unilateral plan to stop enforcing existing immigration laws in favor of handling deportations on a case-by-case basis, President Obama announced on Monday that he would, in the following months, be taking action without the approval of Congress to address illegal immigration and immigration reform issues.
Noting that Speaker of the House John Boehner does not intend to vote on immigration reform legislation this year, Obama stated,
“I take executive action only when we have a serious problem, a serious issue and Congress chooses to do nothing. And in this situation, the failure of the House Republicans to pass a darn bill is bad for our economy and it’s bad for our future.”
“I held off on pressuring them for a long time to give Speaker Boehner the space he needed to get his fellow Republicans on board,” Obama also stated.
Obama blasted Republicans for not falling-in-line with the Democrats’ call for immigration reform. While Republicans have remained open to ideas aimed at curbing illegal immigration, all pieces of legislation that have gained any sort of traction in the House or Senate have called for some form of amnesty- a reward of citizenship for those who are here illegally.
Further, Speaker Boehner and other leading Republicans have repeatedly noted that the president is operating more and more lawlessly and cannot be trusted to adequately enforce the law- an argument that was validated by Monday’s assertion that the president can operate without Congress in creating laws.
Repeatedly claiming that the “majority” of Americans are united in a belief that immigration reform is needed, despite the fact that the country remains highly divided on this issue and “immigration reform” has come to encompass a broad range of ideas, with Democrats and moderate Republicans championing amnesty ad nauseum.
“Our country and our economy would be stronger today if House Republicans had allowed a simple yes or no vote on this bill or for that matter any bill. They would be following the will of the majority of the American people to support reform,” Obama said. “Instead, they have proven again and again that they are unwilling to stand up to the Tea Party in order to do what’s best for the country. The worst part of is a bunch of them know better.”
President Obama swayed back and forth between assuring Americans he looked forward to working with Republicans and issuing ultimatums.
“If House Republicans are really concerned about me taking too many executive actions, the best solution to that is passing bills,” Obama advised.
Of course, while the president does hold power to influence legislation via veto power and such, no power exists in our Constitution that allows the president to unilaterally declare which laws will be enforced, which laws will not and to create new laws without the consent of Congress.
Monday’s announcement is sure to startle many conservatives as he appears more and more at ease with taking power into his own hands. Obama’s announcement came just days after the Supreme Court unanimously ruled that he had overstepped his office’s limitations by making recess appointments and it came on the same day that the Supreme Court affirmed the right of companies to refrain from purchasing healthcare that includes contraceptives if it violates religious principles- a key element of Obamacare, President Obama’s namesake legislation that serves as his crumbling first-term “achievement.”
RNC Chairman Reince Priebus released a statement minutes after Obama’s announcement, saying,
“After being rebuked 13 times by a unanimous Supreme Court in just three years and with the House of Representatives filing a lawsuit to curb Obama’s presidential overreach, you’d think this administration would get the message. Our Constitution is not a list of suggestions. Our founders were not mistaken when they created three separate branches of government.”
