The glasses you are wearing are most likely having a significant negative impact on your health. This impact will snowball as the years pass and you continue to wear them.

You will blame your health problems, mental and physical ailments on other factors while you continue wearing what could be the culprits.

You will never see sunglasses the same ever again after reading this.

It is best if you close this post and delete it from your memory. You don’t want to know the truth about sunglasses, nor the damage it can be causing you.

Those sunglasses look amazing on you.

Stop reading and close this tab.

Eyewear Industry:

Eyewear is a massive $100 billion+ industry that is expected to surpass $140 billion by 2020. This means the eyewear industry is on track to grow at 8% yearly. Unbelievable growth for such a large industry.

The industry is dominated by Luxottica. This vertically integrated company design manufactures and retails its eyewear brands. It also makes the eyewear for leading designer brands.

Some of Luxottica’s own brands and retail stores include Oakley, Ray-Ban, Sunglass Hut, LensCrafters, Pearle Vision, Target Optical, Sears Optical, and more.

Luxcottica is the largest optical retailer in the United States with 7.3% of U.S. retail sales in 2015.

Some of Luxottica’s luxury partners include: Prada, Coach, Giorgio Armani, Michael Kors, Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Versace, and more.

Luxottica is the largest company in the industry with worldwide market share is estimated at 14%, the second largest company being Essilor at 13%.

In October 2018 Luxottica and Essilor merged into a single company. This merger into EssilorLuxotica now occupies almost 30% of the worldwide market share of the eyewear industry and sells almost a billion lenses and frames annually.

The eyewear industry is controlled by a monopoly. This monopoly keeps prices of eyewear inflated and manipulates the industry to suit their needs and greed.

It only makes sense that such an evil industry would be controlled by a monopoly.

The most manipulated and evil things are done by industries that are controlled by a monopoly.

“Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely.”

Lord Acton

But look how hot she looks in those sunglasses..

The eyewear industry contains 3 sectors
– Prescription eyewear
– Sunglasses
– Contact lenses

Prescription eyewear is the largest and most lucrative sector of the eyewear industry.

This is where the monopoly loves to squeeze the money from the blind public.

In the United States roughly 3/4th of the population use some sort of vision correction and of that group around 2/3 wear eyeglasses.

This represents 126 million people in the U.S. that wear eyeglasses. The average pair of frames run in the hundreds ($100+) and lenses ($100+).

If you want nice looking frames (especially designer frames) it will be even more expensive, and if your prescription is higher you will be paying even more.

People that wear prescription glasses for a living end up spending thousands in eyewear in their lifetime. A huge cost and a huge windfall for eyewear companies.

Customers are paying 10–20x what the frames and lenses actually cost. A complete scam that is destroying your health.

The eyewear industry developed from “improving” the eyesight of humans to creating a fashion statement for humans. The type of glasses you wore became part of who you are. You are wearing them daily so the style and feel of them matters significantly. The eyewear industry continues to push the hype around glasses, but sunglasses in particular.

The main way they do this is two fold:
– Push the health benefits and protection that it provides the eyes
– Push the fashion statement of wearing sunglasses

You need both methods in order to make wearing sunglasses the norm and solidify the habit into the society.

The fashion statement is self explanatory. If you make sunglasses cool you will make people want to wear them. Humans are tribal creatures and will do things merely because those around them are doing it. You get famous people to wear them and you drive everyone to go buy some sunglasses.

The more devious and persuasive way is the health benefits that are pushed for wearing sunglasses. The fashion statement is persuasive enough to get most people to start wearing sunglasses, but in order to get them to constantly wear sunglasses and make it a habit that will get them to buy more sunglasses you need to add the health aspect.

Sun is Bad

The National Eye Institute, as part of the federal government’s National Institutes of Health (NIH), stresses the need for wearing sunglasses.

This authority figure states that sunglasses protect the eyes from the sun’s ultraviolet rays. Failure to protect from these UV rays:
– Cataracts: a clouding of the eye’s lens that can blur vision. An estimated 20% of cases are caused by extended UV exposure.
– Macular degeneration, resulting from damage to the retina that destroys central vision. Macular degeneration is the leading cause of blindness in the United States.
– Pterygium, a tissue growth over the white part of the surface of the eye that can alter the curve of the eyeball, causing astigmatism.

Macular degeneration is the leading cause of blindness in the United States. An estimated more than 10 million Americans are impacted by this cause of vision loss. Macular Degeneration is caused by the deterioration of the central portion of the retina. This central portion is responsible for focusing central vision in the eyes, and controls our ability to do anything important visually.

The causes of macular degeneration are still not known, but the treatment to reducing the risk of macular degeneration is changes in diet, avoiding smoking and protecting eyes from ultraviolet light.

It is insane that nobody understands the leading cause of blindness in the United States and continue to push the idea that getting ultraviolet light from the sun is harmful to the eyes.

Most eye sight problems in modern society are due to over reliance on glasses and lack of sunlight hitting the eyes.

Regardless the National Eye Institute, National Institutes of Health, Ophthalmologists, and many other authority figures continue to stress and scare the public into believing that sunlight is harmful for the eyes. Eye sight and problems with eyes continues to worsen as the use of sunglasses and eyewear continues to skyrocket. Instead of criticizing this abnormal shield that we are putting in front of our eyes which is completely unnatural, we blame the most natural thing that has existed for millions of years.

The sun.

It has become commonplace and a fact that wearing sunglasses is necessary to protect your eyes from the sun. The sun has been given a negative connotation and industries benefit directly from continuing to scare the public from the sun. Industries have been created with the focus on selling the uninformed public about ways to protect themselves from the sun.

The public believes the lies and scaremongering about afflictions such as skin cancer, and macular degeneration that it makes them go to the extreme to protect themselves and their loved ones from such problems. This leads them to wear sunglasses, and sunscreen. All of which can be causing massive disruptions and harm to the individual.

Sun is Healthy

John Ott is a photo-researcher and author of Health and Light that made a living out of a hobby of time-lapse photography. He began to capture the movements of nature by setting up a camera that would be constantly taking pictures throughout a long period of time. For the human eye we take for granted nature and don’t realize how alive plants are and their movements. In his time-lapse photography he was able to show how lively plants are and their development along months of photographs. His interest in the field led him to do work for films that wanted to capture the movement of plants and nature. John began to experiment with various lighting and strategies on how to get plants to move and grow in the direction that he wanted them to form. These experiments led him to make surprising discoveries into how important lighting was for the growth of plants.

He noticed that different types of light and lighting conditions ranging from unfiltered sunlight to various kinds of artificial light had vastly different effects on the growth, development and motion of plants.

Eventually his interests in this field had him experiment with rats and various other animals. This is when he realized the profound impact that light had on animals and it led him to realize the profound impact it had on humans.

One experiment was done on minks. There was a mink breeder that heard about John’s work and wanted to know how she can apply his concepts to breeding minks. She was having trouble with minks reproducing and there were too many males being born. She wanted more females and more reproduction which would increase the ability to breed more minks.

In the experiment John had the light changed that was on the minks. He put pink and blue glass. In the pink glass the minks became more aggressive and hostile. This change in nature also led them to be physically weaker and overall the minks were unable to reproduce. Most of the minks died. In the blue glass the minks became friendly and docile. This change led the minks to be healthier and reproduce in vast numbers. Most of the minks lived long.

Observe females that wear pink/red glasses and notice how they act and function. You will notice that they are usually crazy, aggressive, and act in an erratic nature. This is the influence that pink glass is having on their psyche.

you KNOW she’s going to act up when she wears pink glasses

Observe males that wear blue glasses and notice they act and function. You will notice they are docile and kind. Sometimes to the point where you wonder what the hell this person took to be so nice. It’s the blue glass having an effect on their psyche.

this dude ain’t hurting a fly wearing those

Experiments such as these that John ran for many years showed the radical changes in both mental and physical health of animals solely based on the lighting that the animals received.

Plants, and animals are vastly different and yet extremely similar.

The basic principles of photosynthesis which provides energy to plants via sunlight do carry over from plant life into animal life. The processes are different and animal life is greatly improved, but the foundation is the same.

There was even a company that changed the lights to be full spectrum. Full spectrum lights provide the whole spectrum of light which is most closely aligned to the sunlight. The productivity of the company rose 25% after the installation of these lights. This is absolutely insane and provides evidence of the importance of lighting both at home, at work, and all around us.

You might be negatively impacted by the lights in your work, and at your home. Full spectrum lighting is the way to go and having that implemented where you work would significantly boost productivity and overall employee satisfaction.

Light plays an important role in plants as it does in animals, as it does in humans.

The role of light still has to be studied, but some great insights were made by John Ott in his experimentation and dealings with human beings.

Glandular System

The endocrine system is made up of glands that produce and secrete hormones. These hormones are chemical substances produced in the body that regulate the activity of cells and organs. Hormones regulate the body’s growth, metabolism, sexual development and function. Hormones are released into the bloodstream and affect several organs throughout the body.

Hormones are chemical messengers created by the body. They transfer information between cells to coordinate the functions of various parts of the body.

The glands that make up the endocrine system include hypothalamus, thyroid, pituitary, parathyroids, adrenals, pineal, and reproductive organs.

The endocrine system is extremely important to the overall functioning of the human body and a disruption in the endocrine system can create many of the diseases that are rampant in today’s society.

Imagine depriving this system of the sunlight it needs to function

The entire glandular system can be affected, or glandular actions modified, by light received through the eyes.

This is why John Ott found such profound changes in the behavior and makeup of humans that were exposed to plenty of sunlight throughout the day as opposed to humans that worked in the basement and never got any sun. The former was healthy and active, while the latter was weak and unhealthy.

The eyes contain photosensitive cells in its retina. These photosensitive cells have connections directly to the pituitary gland in the brain. Stimulation of these cells comes from sunlight, such photo-receptors play a vital role in human physiology and health, a study by Dr.’s Turner and Mainster of the University of Kansas School of Medicine, published in the British Journal of Opthamology in 2008.

The effects of these photoreceptors and photosensitive cells are not only in the brain, but the whole body.

The proper functioning of the endocrine system relies on sunlight entering the eyes and the body being exposed to the sun. Failure to do this creates disruption within the endocrine system which can have significant impacts in various facets of one’s life. Physiological and psychological impacts are had from malfunctioning of any of the glands in the endocrine system.

Sun stimulation is directly tied to the proper functioning of the endocrine system. The endocrine system is the system that produces and secretes hormones that regulate the activity of cells and organs.

Any disruption in this and you can expect the activity of cells and organs to malfunction.

Animals respond to the intensity, periodicity, and wavelength distribution of light in much of the same way that plants do.

Sunglasses are killing you

beware the sun will kill you, buy sunglasses!!!

Sunglasses block the necessary natural sunlight in the eyes that the body needs. Sunglasses filter out all the ultraviolet and other shorter wavelengths of sunlight energy. The characteristics of the light are further changed depending on the color of the glass. Glasses of all sort block most, if not all, of the ultraviolet sunlight from entering the eyes.

The importance of the sun and sunlight to the endocrine system is widespread. Most of the fear mongering that happens against the sun focuses on something like skin cancer.

The assumption is that getting too much sun and not putting on chemically ridden sunscreen leads to skin cancer.

The focus on the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays is the skin that has been exposed to direct sunlight. However we have seen the crucial role sunlight plays in the body, especially in the endocrine system.

Lack of normal amount of ultraviolet in sunlight received through the eyes can cause a condition of hormonal or chemical imbalance that can have an effect in something like skin cancer.

A malfunctioning of the endocrine system that creates a malfunction in the hormonal or chemical imbalance that can make the skin hypersensitive to sunlight and allow skin cancer to occur.

This is all conjecture, but it makes far more sense than blocking the sun from the eyes and not getting any sun on the skin. Notice how little research is on this subject and for good reason. (They don’t want the truth to come out)

The problem then becomes the lack of sunlight into the eyes and a malfunctioning endocrine system as opposed to the sun being the culprit.

Wearing sunglasses blocks the ability for the sunlight to enter the eyes and leads to a malfunctioning of the endocrine system which exposes the body to disruption that can lead to all sorts of physical and mental afflictions, not to mention susceptibility to skin cancer.

Lack of exposure to solar radiation which is pushed by the authority figures of the present society:
– Functional disorders in nervous system
– Vitamin D deficiency
– Weakening of body’s defenses
– Aggravation of chronic diseases

Someone that is attempting to get the benefits of the sun while wearing sunglasses will be inadvertently exposing himself to further problems because of the lack of sunlight getting into the eyes. This creates the situation for something like skin cancer to show up and add to the belief system that the sun causes skin cancer. Which is partly true, but not the whole story.

Conclusion

The sun is extremely important to the proper functioning of the human body.

Lack of sunlight will lead to a disruption in many bodily systems, but more importantly in the endocrine system. The endocrine system which plays a huge role in the regulation of the activity of cells and organs.

The human body has created mechanisms to thrive from the sunlight and protect itself from harming effects of too much exposure.

The tanning of the skin accomplishes the purpose of cutting down the intensity of the light that penetrates the outer surface. Tanning prevents sunburn. Tanning is important to get and have when being exposed to the sun. You want to slowly get yourself adjusted to the sun by going out daily and getting a tan on.

The sunlight is especially important for the increase in testosterone which is part of the endocrine system.

Sunlight on the chest and back was found to increase testosterone 120%, sunlight on the testicles raised testosterone production by 200–400%.

Astounding increases in testosterone production from the sun. The endocrine system is working well and you are benefiting immensely from it.

The key to all of this is to NOT WEAR SUNGLASSES. You need to allow the sun to enter your eyes and rejuvenate your body.

If you wear glasses then I would recommend you take them off when outside. You need to allow your eyes to get sun. You will be surprised how much better you feel and even improvements in eye sight.

Windows and automobile windows also block the ultraviolet rays from the sun… yes crazy that the blocking is everywhere, but you need to be outside or have the plastic type of windows that allows UV rays to pass.

Anytime you are wearing sunglasses you are blocking the vital ultraviolet rays that the body craves and needs to properly function.

Give away those beautiful ray bans.. Yes I have them and haven’t worn them in months.

Now go feed yourself the sunlight you need.

now you will never see sunglasses the same way
