The likely principal antagonist in all such events is Al3+ (aq) and its mechanism of action will involve numbers of different agents or intermediates. For example, we know that aluminium is a potent pro-oxidant, its interaction with the superoxide radical anion establishing, fuelling and sustaining redox cycles. The potency of these effects are all the more significant in that the enhanced formation of reactive oxygen species may be accelerated at sites which are distinct and divorced from locations housing the cell’s anti-oxidant machinery. For example, aluminium sinks such as the extracellular senile plaques of Aβ42 and the intracellular chromatin of neuronal nuclei are both likely targets of aluminium-driven oxidative damage. Aluminium is an excitotoxin and a number of mechanisms have been described, whereby aluminium induces elevated and sustained levels of intracellular Ca2+ with significant implications not only for cellular energy metabolism, but also uncontrolled phosphorylation of biomolecules. The presence of biologically reactive aluminium imposes an immediate energy requirement upon a neuron, whether simply because of the need to produce more Ca2+-buffering proteins or because of the requirement to clean-up the consequences of hyperphosphorylation, for example, through autophagosomal activities. Aluminium is a mutagen and the phosphate-rich environment of the nucleus predisposes it to the accumulation of aluminium and subsequent alterations in the expression of genetic materials. The latter may be subtle but sufficient to bring about significant alterations in neuronal physiology over extended time periods. Aluminium is, of course, a powerful immunogenbeing the preferred adjuvant in vaccination and immunotherapy. This activity as an adjuvant, and concomitantly as an antigen, at injection sites in skin or muscle must also be considered for focal accumulations of aluminium within the CNS and such reactivity may underlie aluminium’s suggested roles in autoimmunity[3–5]

And yet, consensus-vaccinology-science doesn’t get it! Why?

There has to be another designated reason, plus rationale, for poisoning the CNS (central nervous system) of a human starting in infancy with mandated hyper-containing-aluminum-salts (as adjuvants) in any of 3 formulations, i.e., Aluminumhydroxide, aluminum phosphate, and potassium aluminum sulfate (alum):

Medical Care

The most important part of emergency medical treatment is the recognition of possible aluminum toxicity based on risks (eg, renal insufficiency, aluminum exposure) and symptoms (eg, altered mental status, anemia, osteoporosis).

Treatment of aluminum toxicity includes elimination of aluminum from the diet, TPN, dialysate, medications, antiperspirants, and an attempt at the elimination and chelation of the element from the body’s stores.

Research at Keele University in Staffordshire, UK, has shown for the first time that an individual who was exposed to aluminum at work and died of Alzheimer’s disease had high levels of aluminum in the brain.


Professor Chris Exley, of The Birchall Centre, at Keele University, said: “The results showed unequivocally that the frontal lobe contained an average aluminum content which was at least four times higher than might be expected for an age-matched control brain.

Notation should be madeand even emphasized, that the allopathic medical paradigm disapproved of chelation as a “quack-medicine” modality when used by holistic and integrative physicians, and actually prosecuted some physicians for using the modality! The above indicates just how screwed up allopathic medical science actually is, since allopathy now incorporates what it previously condemned. Go figure!

Thus, the mechanism of Al toxicity appears to be different in the two cell lines. It is possible that the principal neurotoxic target of the metal is glial and when these cells are in a compromised state, this may secondarily impact the neuronal population and thus eventually lead to neurodegeneration.

What The Flu Shot Can Do To Your Brain

Depending on where you live it’s probably flu season — that time of year when you are most likely to get the flu. It can start as early as October and end as late as May, but the peak occurs from December through February. There’s no agreement on exactly why flu season occurs when it does. The usual suspects include spending time indoors in close contact with others and lack of Vitamin D formation during the darkest months of the year.

The obvious key to avoiding the flu is to have a strong immune system. But if you don’t feel that your immune system is up to par, you can readily get a flu vaccination. Major chain drug stores and supermarkets encourage you to stop in and get your flu shot. But is this really a good idea? Do the benefits outweigh the risks? Here’s a look at the latest evidence on exactly what you can expect from the flu shot — what’s in it, how well it works, and potential risks, especially as related to your brain and nervous system.

What’s In Flu Vaccines

According to the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), substances you can expect to be added to vaccines include aluminum, antibiotics, egg protein, formaldehyde, monosodium glutamate, and mercury. The CDC argues that these are necessary to keep vaccines safe and effective and that the amounts added are very small. Here’s a look at the most controversial ingredients and what they are doing in vaccines.

Aluminum gels or salts make vaccines more effective by stimulating your body’s immune response. Aluminum is an abundant metal that’s a known neurotoxin suspected of causing Alzheimer’s. In the 1970s, autopsies revealed that people who had Alzheimer’s also had larger than normal concentrations of aluminum in the brain. While there is a growing body of evidence that links aluminum to Alzheimer’s, it has still not been determined for certain whether ingesting aluminum or getting it from vaccines is a cause of this disease.

Monosodium glutamate, or MSG, is added to vaccines to stabilize them against changes that can occur when exposed to heat, light, acidity, or humidity. MSG is also an extremely common food additive found in almost all salty processed foods like canned soups, chips, crackers, and ramen noodles. It’s even found in soy protein products considered “healthy” like veggie burgers.

Thanks to a strong MSG industry lobby, it’s not always required to be listed on food labels. Reported side effects of MSG include headaches, migraines, muscle tightness, numbness, tingling, general weakness, flushing, arterial dilatation, upset stomach, fuzzy thinking, diarrhea, heart irregularities, asthma, and mood swings. If you’ve ever felt any of these symptoms after a Chinese restaurant meal, you probably have experienced MSG-induced Chinese restaurant syndrome.

Formaldehyde is added to vaccines to kill unwanted viruses and bacteria. It’s used as a preservative in mortuaries and medical laboratories. Anyone who’s ever taken Biology 101 remembers jars filled with pickled animal specimens preserved in the foul-smelling stuff. The general population is exposed to formaldehyde from pressed wood products, glues and adhesives, permanent press fabrics, paper product coatings, and insulation materials.

It’s a well-established neurotoxin that affects memory, learning, and behavior. It can cause coughing, wheezing, nausea, skin irritation, and burning sensations in the eyes, nose, and throat. According to, formaldehyde is linked to many types of cancer.

Thimerosal is a preservative added to vials of vaccine to prevent bacterial contamination. By weight, it contains 50% mercury. Mercury is classified as a developmental neurotoxin as are lead, arsenic, PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl), and toluene. Mercury readily enters the brain to cause numerous neurological problems including fatigue, weakness, irritability, memory loss, depression, brain damage, hearing loss, and blurred vision.

Thimerosal is largely banned in Europe and other countries, but is still used in the U.S. mainly in multi-dose vials as a preservative. It’s advised that pregnant women and children avoid vaccines that contain thimerosal. You can find a list of flu shots that do not contain mercury on the CDC website.

Flu Shot Side Effects

Current guidelines recommend that everyone should get a flu shot, but that it is particularly important for children, pregnant women, seniors, and those working in the health care industry. Ironically, these are some of the groups most susceptible to flu shot side effects. The CDC lists minor side effects from the flu shot as hoarseness, irritated eyes, cough, fever, aches, headache, and fatigue — symptoms that sound a lot like the flu. It’s not uncommon to experience soreness, redness, or swelling after a shot is administered.

There’s also a long list of serious side effects. One rare but well-documented side effect of the flu vaccine is Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Symptoms include muscle weakness, temporary limb paralysis, permanent nerve damage and, in severe cases, respiratory failure and death. There’s a significant relationship between mercury exposure from vaccines that contain thimerosal and the risk of neurodevelopmental disorders in children including autism, ADHD, tic disorder, and developmental delays.

The World Health Organization reports that young people from ages 4 to 19 years who had a flu shot were nine times more likely to experience narcolepsy, a sleep disorder that causes a person to fall asleep suddenly and unexpectedly. Getting a flu shot during pregnancy may significantly increase the risk that the baby will develop autism during childhood or schizophrenia as a teen. Another study found that giving newborn monkeys the same vaccine given to human babies caused significant abnormalities in brainstem development.

Vaccine-related injuries are common enough that the United States Department of Health and Human Services has established a National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) to compensate those who have suffered vaccine injuries. According to the Vaccine Injury Law Project, a legal firm that specializes in helping vaccine injury victims get compensation, serious vaccine reactions can lead to a wide variety of conditions including autism, seizures, arthritis, anaphylaxis, lupus, encephalitis, multiple sclerosis, and developmental delays.

Flu Shots Are Surprisingly Ineffective

You may be surprised to learn that getting a flu shot does not guarantee you will not get the flu. You can be vaccinated for the “wrong” strain. You can still get the flu even if the strains were properly matched but your immune system is not strong.

According to the CDC, approximately 30,000 Americans die of the flu each year. Some experts take exception with this number since it includes deaths by pneumonia which can be unrelated to the flu. To put that in proportion, your chances of dying from the flu are very similar to that of perishing from falling down (30,000), being shot (33,000), being killed in a car accident (34,000), or dying from an accidental poisoning (38,000).

A meta analysis of studies that included over 70,000 people concluded that, “Influenza vaccines have a modest effect in reducing influenza symptoms and working days lost. There is no evidence that they affect complications, such as pneumonia, or transmission.” According to the Alliance for Natural Health, a study in the peer-reviewed medical journal The Lancet found that only 2.7 percent of non-vaccinated adults caught the flu which means that 97.3 percent of them did not. Among vaccinated adults, 1.2 percent contracted the flu. This study also concluded that, “Evidence for protection in adults aged 65 years or older is lacking.”

Before you decide whether or not to get the flu shot, arm yourself with information. If you decide the risks are worth the potential benefits, get a mercury-free shot that poses the least risk.

And since the flu shot provides no guarantees, it pays to take common sense measures to protect yourself whether or not you get the flu shot. Wash your hands frequently, avoid contact with those who have the flu, and take extra care of your health during flu season. That means getting adequate sleep and exercise, avoiding processed food, minimizing stress, and keeping up your vitamin D levels to keep your immune system strong.

Flashback : Fluoride Classified as Dangerous to Developing Brains

lancet_neuro_smallFluoride joins lead, arsenic, methylmercury, toluene, tetrachloroethylene, and other chemicals known to cause harm to brains, reports the Fluoride Action Network (FAN).

Fluoride is newly classified as a developmental neurotoxin by medical authorities in the March 2014 journal Lancet Neurology (a search for the word fluoride in this article will not produce results, we suggest you search for ride). The authors are Dr. Philippe Grandjean of the Harvard School of Public Health and Dr. Philip Landrigan of the Icahn School of Medicine.

The authors write “A meta-analysis of 27 cross-sectional studies of children exposed to fluoride in drinking water, mainly from China, suggests an average IQ decrement of about seven points in children exposed to raised fluoride concentrations.”  The majority of these 27 studies had water fluoride levels which the US Environmental Protection Agency currently allows in the US – less than 4 milligrams per liter.

Developmental neurotoxins are capable of causing widespread brain disorders such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disabilities, and other cognitive impairments.  The harm is often untreatable and permanent.

Grandjean and Landrigan write, “Our very great concern is that children worldwide are being exposed to unrecognized toxic chemicals that are silently eroding intelligence, disrupting behaviors, truncating future achievements, and damaging societies, perhaps most seriously in developing countries.”

The authors say it’s crucial to control the use of all harmful chemicals to protect children’s brain development. They propose mandatory testing of these chemicals and the urgent formation of a new international clearinghouse to evaluate them for potential neurotoxicity. “Fluoride seems to fit in with lead, mercury, and other poisons that cause chemical brain drain,” Grandjean says. “The effect of each toxicant may seem small, but the combined damage on a population scale can be serious, especially because the brain power of the next generation is crucial to all of us.”

Paul Connett, PhD, FAN Executive Director says, “In light of the new classification of fluoride as a dangerous neurotoxin, adding more fluoride to American’s already excessive intake no longer has any conceivable justification.  We should follow the evidence and try to reduce fluoride intake, not increase it.”

The US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) reports 276 million Americans are consuming fluoridated drinking water, largely as a result of the CDC’s vigorous advocacy to maintain and increase those numbers.

But the CDC’s own evidence reveals Americans already show signs of fluoride-overexposure and reports that 41% of American teenagers have dental fluorosis, a physical marker that they ingested too much fluoride while their teeth were forming.  Evidence also shows these markers in the US are not decreasing over time, but are increasing.    Connett asks, “Why would the CDC persist in going against the tide of evidence to promote higher fluoride intake. Sadly, it seems, health agencies in fluoridated countries seem to be more intent on protecting the fluoridation program than protecting children’s brains.”

New lies over aspartame

European review of aspartame was fixed

I warned you early on that the European “review” of aspartame was a sham, with the outcome fixed from the start. But believe me, I would’ve loved it if they proved me wrong.

If the European Food Safety Authority had the nerve to finally recognize the dangers of this artificial sweetener, I’d happily print out my words and eat them.

But of course, they’ve done no such thing. Instead, the agency cut off its planned 11-year review after just four years, saying they’ve seen enough to conclude that aspartame is safe.


Aspartame is a proven neurotoxin known to attack the central and peripheral nervous systems on the cellular level. It’s been linked to brain tumors, migraines, seizures, coma, memory loss and more.

The FDA receives (and seemingly ignores) more complaints on aspartame than any other food additive — so many, that their binder on this stuff must be three feet thick by now.

That tells me it’s either truly dangerous, or the object of a mass delusion the likes of which the world has never seen.

I’m going with “truly dangerous.” And for all those dangers, this poison doesn’t even deliver on its central promise.

It’s supposed to be a diet alternative to sugar, a no-calorie sweetener than can help people to lose weight and avoid major disease. In reality, it tricks your brain into expecting calories that never come — ultimately increasing your appetite and making you more likely to overeat.

That’s why studies have consistently shown that diet soda drinkers don’t have a lower risk of obesity, diabetes and heart disease. In fact, the risk of these and other conditions is actually HIGHER in diet soda drinkers.

If this is a “diet” ingredient, then it must be a diet from you-know-where (or at least Washington).

Bottom line here is that you need to treat aspartame the way you treat any other hazardous chemical: keep it out of your food and drink, out of your home and out of your body.
